The interesting thing about online buyers is they are extremely
price sensitive. A survey done by Forrester Research shows that
73 percent of surveyed online buyers expect prices on the
Internet to be cheaper than in stores. No wonder auction
marketplaces are thriving. Among the most popular auction
marketplaces growth of eBay is especially notable! Its market
share is growing at roughly twice the pace of the over all
market. So, it’s only natural if you like many other wannabe
entrepreneurs thinking seriously to start an eBay business.
Say, after spending long hours on the eBay and doing much
research offline and online, you finally have come up with a
niche category of products to sell. But, there is one little
problem! You don’t have a slightest clue where to get regular
supply of this product for wholesale price. Often, entrepreneurs
with great product ideas fail to materialize their dream business
plan just because they are unable to find a right supplier. How
to tackle this problem?
Finding a local supplier
Success in any trading business depends not only on how good you
are in selling, it also relies greatly on your ability to source
the product at right cost. If you have a fairly large list of
products that you are considering to work with you have a variety
of options to choose from. You may start your eBay auctioning
business based on local liquidators, closeout dealers, government
auctions, newspaper classified or Drop-shippers
(http://ezine.rusbiz.com/article/39). But to start a real niche
business you need to find a constant source supplier, which could
be a manufacturer, a distributor or a wholesaler. Obviously,
Internet is the easiest place to get the initial contact
information. Try http://www.thomasnet.com/ or
http://www.tgrnet.com/ - both websites are good information
sources for industrial products manufacturers.
Bear in mind that many manufacturers simply aren’t able to handle
small orders and don’t sell products directly to retailers. Some
times, the minimum sales lot is way too big for a small start-up
company to manage. However, even if the manufacturer does not
sell directly to retail levels, they will provide you with
information on their products and refer you to their wholesaler
or distributor companies, which will be in a position to cater
your needs.
For some category of products, your best option is to attend
trade or industry shows in order to locate a supplier. Check out
websites of some exhibition centers in your vicinity and find one
or two trade shows of your area of interest. Make sure that
participants of the trade show are distributors and wholesalers
as oppose to large manufacturers. After all, you need to find a
supplier who will agree to work with your initial small orders.
Trade journals or publications of your related field also could
be a great source in your quest to find a supplier. Trade
journals publish information on industry trend, articles on major
players, various industry related event schedules such as trade
shows, and often carry classified sections. Sometimes, they also
publish specialty issues such as a buyer’s guide or a who’s who
issue. You may consider getting those issues by contacting the
publishers.
Professional and trade associations similar to local chamber of
commerce and other groups offer a variety of services, which are
extremely useful to members and general people a like. Promotion
of the industry and its products and referral services for buyers
trying to find specific products are some of the services that
they offer. You should not hesitate to contact these
organizations for help.
Importing
Competition in world’s largest electronic marketplace is fierce!
If you have to buy products from a middleman, you may find that
your prices are not workable at all. What to do? Since most of
the consumers products are imported any way, you may consider
outsourcing your product from a foreign country. Today, thanks to
globalization importing products are no longer as difficult as it
used to be! If you are trying to buy a labor-intensive product,
the best places are probably China - which is the hottest at this
time, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh and some other Asian
countries. If you are looking for medium quality electronics and
computer parts, your options are China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore,
etc. For high-end designer products Italy, Germany and France are
your best bet. For intellectual property related products, Russia
and other Eastern European countries are still a paradise.
There is a good chance of finding a supplier through online B2B
portals. If you are looking for a supplier from China you may try
www.alibaba.com and www.globalsources.com. Two of the largest
trade leads aggregators on the Internet. For products from India
you may try searching the database of both www.indiamart.com and
www.trade-india.com. For products from Russia and other CIS
countries www.rusbiz.com is a great option.
Here are the steps you must take in order to import products
successfully:
• Locate several suppliers either through online resources or by
contacting Trade Commissions of respective countries.
• Contact the suppliers and see if they are in a position to
deliver the right product. Make sure that the suppliers are not
your direct competitors. Many foreign suppliers are actively
selling products through eBay.
• If you find their price and quality of the product are
acceptable get several samples. It is very important to give them
an exact copy of the product you are looking for. Without a
prototype you might end up getting something far different than
you expected.
• Work out your cost, which include buying cost, packaging,
shipping, insurance, customs duty, excise duty if any, financing
and handling charges, etc. You may also incur other expenses
depending on products and your location.
• Check out your supplier. If possible make a trip to visit the
supplier. Ask for references. Contact their bankers if necessary.
Importing requires absolute due diligence.
• Check with a logistics consultant about shipping and exporting
rules of the country.
• Contact a customs broker to verify latest duty and other
regulations related to importing of this particular product.
• Don’t forget to consider product life cycle, shipping time,
seasonality of the product and other characteristics specific to
your product.
Importantly, do your homework! You can sure make money by
importing and selling goods on eBay. Thousands are already doing
this. But, the key to success relies on your entrepreneurial
spirit, due preparation, sound judgment and hard work. If you
think you are ready, go for it!

Nowadays, eBay is becoming a fast increasing market for online shoppers. It gives them the convenience and feasibility of shopping online.
However, it is the seller that benefits most of the time as they find selling things on eBay a lucrative way of earning additional wages. But before a seller logs in and sell his or her items on eBay, there are some things that needs to be done first, here’s how:
1. Sellers must know the rules.
It is extremely important for sellers to know first the rules and regulations of eBay concerning items to be sold and the transaction method. This is one way of protecting themselves so as to avoid fraudulent activities.
2. They should know their market.
Before selling, a seller should first contemplate on what type of market is she or he aiming at. If the sellers know who their target market is, it would be easier for them to think of effective words to use on their descriptive title and the details of their items.
3. They should know the selling fees.
It’s a must for them to know how much the selling fees of eBay are so that they may include this on the initial price of their item.
4. They should know the available payment scheme.
The sellers should know these first so that they can assess which type of payment mode are they comfortable with. After all, they should stress this out when posting their items on sale.
5. They should know how to make an account.
It is, indeed, important for the seller to know first the basic procedures of creating an account on eBay before selling an item. No one can go start selling an item right away without having an account on eBay.
They should know how to register first. They can do this by going to the eBay website and set up a seller’s account by entering some pertinent information like a valid credit/debit card account or bank account. Though, they may opt for an alternative if they are not comfortable doing this. They may opt to become ID verified as a substitute.
For payment purposes, they should also know how to open a PayPal account.
Also, they should know first what kind of format to use, the category of the item, how to write the title and the specifications of the sale, item description, how to increase the item’s visibility, and how to contact the winning bidder before starting to post an item on eBay.
If all of these things are already clear on the seller, then posting an item on eBay will never be a problem. It’s that easy!

Known also as aerobic exercise, cardiovascular exercise is any movement that works the lungs, pumps up the heart rate and promotes blood circulation. It is typically rhythmic, involving the large muscles of the body.
There is a laundry list of cardiovascular exercises. Walking, running, swimming, biking, and even Stairmaster are counted in. Sports are also considered excellent cardiovascular activities, albeit they require some endurance training.
A good cardiovascular exercise slakes off unwanted, if not hazardous, weight, because it requires the burning of those calories that have been piling up in the body. Such exercises would also ensure that one has a hard time regaining the excess weight because they invariably increase one’s metabolism.
True to its name, cardiovascular exercise protects against cardiac arrest. As one would see, any activity that pumps the heart fast and regularly would keep it resilient and healthy. Cardio exercises can also increase stamina, boost blood cholesterol profile, reduce bone loss, and augment muscle mass.
If one feels grim and miserable all the time, then it’s time for some cardio. Famously, cardio can release hormones that alleviate depression and let people save on the Valium.
Diabetic persons likewise benefit greatly from stable blood sugar levels maintained by a cardiovascular exercise. It does this by increasing the ability of the muscles to expend glucose.
Beginners may opt for 15 minutes of aerobic activity at first, going full blast to 30-minute sessions thrice a week. However, one should oscillate between low impact and high impact exercises to ward off injuries. Also, it is sound to limit high impact cardio to five times a week.

Kenny Werner, in his book Effortless Mastery, describes a test that illustrates priorities in life.
Go to the kitchen and get a plastic bag. Place it over your head, tying the opening snugly around your neck so that no air can get through. Now, let’s count to one hundred. By the count of 50, let me ask you: How important is that bonus you’ve been working overtime to earn. By the count of 60 would you be fretting about the state of your investments? By 80 no doubt you’d be worried about your boss asking for those reports you hadn’t finished yet.
I’m not trying to make light of anyone’s problems, but sometimes we make more out of a situation than we should. Life’s day-to-day difficulties can often overwhelm us to the extent that we can’t see what is really important. If you were to be kidnapped today, I would guess that the company you work for would not go under. In fact, you may be surprised at how little you’d be missed.
There’s a reason why eating healthy meals, exercising, and leading a balanced social/work life leads to a less stressful life and improved sleep habits. It’s because you are taking care of the things that are really important in life: Health and happiness.
If you can get your priorities more in line with what you really want from life, there is a good chance that peace and serenity will follow.

Patience is a fine virtue sought by many
Many fortunes were made starting with a penny
While in the Army I had to hurry up and wait
Many have had to wait for the right mate
All of our days are filled with waiting times
We wait while the cashier counts the dimes
There is no reason to get in a rush
We all have to wait, why make a fuss
A wise old man once said to me
Time goes by fast just wait and see
Before you know it you will be old and gray
Enjoy your youth, have fun and play
I know I can’t control the times and seasons
Waiting times happen for many reasons
Wisdom comes from waiting on things
The wait is worth the prize it brings
Patience and endurance goes hand in hand
The long wait is over, strike up the band
It takes time to grow a large tree
But it is worth the wait its’ beauty to see

Security should be one of the most important considerations for your home. Why fill your home with your personal effects and decorate it if the home can be so easily burgled? It makes more sense to have a security system fitted that will deter intruders and send them elsewhere.
This article is designed to give you an idea of the sort of intruder alarm protection you’ll need in a private house. It does not replace the advice of a professional Security Surveyor/System Designer from a reputable security installer. The article will give you a degree of understanding and help you to discuss your home’s security with a security professional.
Christie Intruder Alarms (CIA) consider that the best way to protect residential property is by using trap protection. Trap protection is a strategy for protecting a property without fitting sensors in every room.
Statistics show that villains rarely break in through windows at the front of a house. They are even less likely to stay in one room and leave through the same front window; they are more likely to go straight to the master bed room. So fitting sensors in the rear rooms of the house and in the hallway is often considered sufficient for the ground floor.
Also as kitchens have heat sources (boilers, fridges, ovens, washing machines and such) and hard surfaces, they are generally considered unstable areas and rarely contain items of value. Therefore, as a rule, a kitchen should not be protected with PIR.
Through our 35+ years of experience, we have learnt that even dual technology detectors are unsuitable for kitchens, as the microwave motion sensor will detect movement through glass, thin walls and will even be triggered by water moving in pipes.
There are various reasons for adopting a trap protection strategy. The first is to limit the false alarm potential of a system and the more detectors a property has, the higher the false alarm potential. All detectors (even the top of the range ones that CIA use) sometimes false alarm. These false alarms are becoming increasingly onerous due to the new hard line that Police Forces are taking regarding attendance. False alarms result in withdrawn Police attendance.
Another important factor is cost - using a good quality sensor would make it expensive to protect each room.
As external alarm boxes are a good deterrent, just having an alarm system installed by a recognized intruder alarm installer should deter most villains, whether they are opportunists or professionals. After all, burglars don’t know whether or not your system is monitored by a central station who will alert the Police in the instance of an alarm - it’s easier for them to go next door or somewhere that doesn’t have an alarm system.
Burglar Alarms
Burglars, and indeed any intruders, are overwhelmingly deterred by a burglar alarm (or, as we say in the trade, an ‘intruder alarm’) more than any other form of home security. It is better to take preventative measures as opposed to the ’shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted’. You are far more likely to be burgled if you have been burgled before. Villains are renowned for returning to the same properties.
Break-in’s are a unfortunate fact of life. Being broken into in a residential property is obviously more distressing than a burglary in the work place and although vandalism is rare, the loss of sentimental artefacts can be most upsetting.
As the Number One security installer in the South of England, Christie Intruder Alarms (CIA) Ltd use a combination of detection devices. The most popular devices are the PIR (Passive Infra-Red) detectors, magnetic reed contacts, breaking glass detectors, infra-red beams, pressure pads, case wiring, vibration detectors and dual technology sensors (sensors that combine Passive Infra-Red with Microwave or Ultrasonic detection).
Always choose a company that has been awarded the prestigious NSI NACOSS Gold Medal. The Gold Medal is only awarded to companies who consistently deliver an outstanding performance in security management.
NSI is an acronym of the National Security Inspectorate. Formerly known as NACOSS, the NSI is an independent, not-for-profit approvals body providing inspection services for the security and fire industries.
Monitoring - Alarm Receiving
For complete peace of mind, many people choose to have their intruder alarms monitored. If an alarm is monitored, then, when it detects an intruder it automatically sends a signal via the phone line and/or cellular network to an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre - these used to be referred to as Central Stations or Monitoring Stations) and the appropriate action is taken. CIA uses Southern Monitoring Services (SMS) Ltd - http://www.smon.co.uk
New Police/Constabulary Service guidelines (the ACPO Policy on Response to Security - ACPO are the Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland ) state that the Police will now only attend monitored alarms that confirm alarm activations (unless installed pre October 2002).
Confirmation is received when a second detection device is triggered during the same intrusion; therefore, something is definitely on site and moving around.
On receiving the first activation, the ARC will notify a keyholder but if a second detection device is triggered in the same activation, this confirms to the ARC that ’something’ is definitely on site and moving around, and the Police are instantly alerted.
If an intruder is detected, a signal is sent from the alarm system using either a standard digital communicator, BT RedCare, BT RedCare GSM or CSL DualComm, via the phone line and/or a cellular network.
A standard digital communicator works by sending signals via the ordinary analogue telephone network, as does BT RedCare, however, with RedCare the ARC are alerted if the phone line fails, either through attack or a genuine line fault, as the line is constantly monitored.
BT RedCare GSM and CSL DualComm send alarm activations via the phone line and a cellular network to for increased security. These forms of signalling are ideal if your insurance company requires your alarm to transmit ‘confirmation’ signals after a line cut.
Your home is your greatest asset. Why leave it vulnerable when it clearly pays to have your house protected by security professionals.
Christie Intruder Alarms (CIA) Ltd are always delighted to advise on any security related issues from their headquarters in Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Ebay money making opportunities are simply the best thing to come along since the wheel. Seriously, everybody from grandmothers to middle school kids are cashing in on what’s been called the $14 billion ebay pie.
And you want your slice, right? Well, all you need to get going on your ebay money making opportunities are a computer and some items to sell on ebay. We know you have a computer or you wouldn’t be here.
For your first items to sell on ebay, look in your closets. On your bookshelves. In your garage. Even in the trunk of your car! They are all places to look for items to make money on ebay.
Because remember that old saying “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Ebay proves it’s true, so start today on your ebay business. So all those old CDs, books, shirts, dresses, belts, slacks, and other stuff you have lying around that you no longer use. They are actually ebay money making opportunities just waiting to happen.
And once you make a few sells on ebay. You can use those profits to buy higher-ticket items for buying and selling on ebay and make even more money. Electronics, cell phones, and stereo equipment are all big sellers. So are designer clothing for men, women, and children.
Click Here! for ebay money making opportunities in Janiece Smith’s ebook on lessons teaching you how to easily and quickly find and sell products for a profit on ebay.
Believe it or not, children’s clothing is always a hot item on ebay. Just make sure you’re selling the proper clothing for the season. One woman buys all the children’s clothing she can at the end of a season, then goes on ebay, selling it the following season.
So always be thinking a little ahead if you’re interested in selling children’s, or any other, clothing. Use that as one of your ebay money making opportunities. It doesn’t do a lot of good to try and sell that beautiful forest green wool winter coat in the middle of July. But it’s likely to sell on ebay quickly and for a great price come the middle of September or October.
You don’t have to limit yourself to these kinds of ebay money making opportunities, though. Your ebay business can consist of buying and selling beauty care items, bikes, handmade goods, antiques, art, furniture, china, stemware, and practically anything else on ebay.
The list is truly endless, and the really great thing is that you can start small and grow your ebay money making opportunities as large as you want. Selling items on ebay is a great way to make a little extra money or some major bucks. It all depends on the time you want to spend and the money you’re willing to put back into your ebay business opportunity.
You can learn more about making money on ebay with a Free eBay Course. This course covers how to buy name brand products at discount prices for reselling on ebay. Plus what items are really selling on ebay, and much more… For more information on the free ebay course Click Here!
Another great way to turn ebay money making opportunities into lots of cash. Sign up with discount clubs and wholesalers to resell their goods on ebay. Many of these will actually do all the shipping and handling for you (drop shipping is the proper term for this).
You never even have to see the products or touch them using this method. They’ve done the work for you when it comes to figuring out how to get things from point A to point B to point C. Plus they know the shipping and handling costs involved. Most of them will charge you a generally small fee, usually one-time, monthly, or yearly, in exchange for the right to buy and sell their items. But the prices are so low on their goods that you can easily turn a profit. Just make sure you do your research and know you’re dealing with reputable people and companies.
As for research, if you’re thinking about going after the major ebay money making opportunities, do lots of it. There are books and websites on nothing but how to make money the ebay way. And you can. But know what’s involved. Learn about postal rates, drop shipping providers/companies, popular items, the pros and cons of online auctions, what to expect realistically when it comes to ebay money making opportunities.
Go to ebay and study the tutorials that put all the information you need about its online auction system into easy, understandable terms. This puts you ahead of the game. It also keeps you from wasting time that could be put to better use. Like hitting the estate and garage sales in your areawhich means more money in your wallet.
You also want to learn about ebay employment opportunities. Ebay has an affiliate program that can help you make even MORE money with an ebay job. Truly, nothing beats ebay money making opportunities for an easy, low-cost start-up that has the potential to grow as large and fast as you want it to.
So when it comes to making money, whether you’re looking for a little extra cash for luxuries. Or for a full-time career, there’s only one word you need to know: Ebay, ebay, ebay!

Maybe you need a Gia Makeover!
When it comes to hair styles, there are so many different options today to make changes. You can change your color, add highlights, add bangs, add layering and even add length or thickness with hair extensions. Makeovers are becoming more and more popular as television shows such as ABC’s Extreme Makeover outline how a makeover is done and drastic changes that can be done. Hair stylist, Gia Wood of Salon D in Dallas, Texas specializes in makeovers and hair extensions and is considered Dallas’ makeover specialist. She has hundreds of clients locally and many clients that fly or drive in to Dallas for her services. One of her clients flies all the way from Spain just to get her hair done. Gia says, “I find that clients who are willing to drive or fly that far just to get their hair done are the biggest compliment and the proof of my success.”
So what is this makeover fuss all about? Gia explains that most of her clients have either been the victim of an inexperienced stylist or have simply not thought enough about the change in hairstyle they wanted and they are now stuck with something they hate. Gia adds, “Most of my makeovers include color correction, which can be highlights, color, gloss or all of the above. Makeovers also include a haircut and style, along with makeup application. The total process can take around 4 hours to complete.”
Gia says, “When dealing with color correction, the first thing every client asks me is ‘…how damaged will my hair be after a color correction?’” Believe it or not, color correction is not as damaging as it used to be. The old way of stripping hair color out with bleach is history. Modern day products allow hair stylists to remove ‘artificial pigment’ only, meaning that it will not open, damage, or split the cuticle of the hair in any way. This allows hairdressers to remove the most intense colors from hair, and allow it to be re-colored in the same appointment time.”
Gia will also offer suggestions for change in color and style to fix any problems a client reports with their hair. “For example, if a client has a brassy blonde color, I will suggest a bleach highlight or an ash toner to offset the brass color.” She explains.
Getting a successful makeover depends on the experience of the stylist. Gia further explains, “My previous clients and even new clients trust my experience level and let me do what ever I feel like with their hair. Most of the time when I’m doing a makeover, I am usually correcting another stylist’s color or haircut. I usually ask my clients what or who they would like to look like and to give a firm example of what they like and don’t like. And, even if a client loves the way her hair looks, they may be looking for a change to further improve their hair style.”
Photos of styles the client likes are very helpful to hair stylists. Gia adds, “Clients and stylists have different vocabularies. For example, Bangs. There are a thousand ways to wear bangs.” Gia recommends bringing at least three photos of the hair style you want so your stylist does not get confused.
Gia also keeps a computer at her work station to look up hair styles online (such as a past hair style of a celebrity) if a client does not have photos or cannot remember certain styles they like. The computer eliminates the need for bulky portfolio books.
“Once the client and I have decided on a style and color,” Gia explains, “We discuss what it will take to get the clients hair to that hair style.” Most of the time the exact cut and color are achieved in one day. But Gia mentions that some clients that are growing their hair out may take several months and appointments to reach their overall goal. Human hair extensions (human hair extensions are attached directly to the natural hair) are also an option for clients that don’t want to wait for their hair to grow out.
Gia’s makeover experience is well-documented on her website: http://www.hairbygia.com Many before and after photo examples of makeovers, including hair extensions can be seen for your reference. Gia is quickly becoming the talk of the town with recent appearances on the television show “Austin Nights” (Segment can be viewed on her website) for her hair extensions services. She was also interviewed for the Number One best selling E-book by Hair Resources, 2005’s Most Popular Hair Extensions and participated as a Judge in their Nationwide Bridal Hair Style Contest.
In short, if you are sick and tired of your hair style and need a makeover, a trip to visit Gia Wood at Salon D in Dallas, Texas may well be worth your time, money…and happiness!
